VBrick Systems Launches the ‘Promise’, Provides Game-Changing Capabilities to Enhance Student-Athlete Classroom Success
Promise Initiative Enables Perfect Class “Attendance” for Student-Athletes – Even During Away Games; Streams Live/On Demand Video Virtually Anywhere, Combines Lecture “Instant Replays”, Ease-of-Use for Student-Athlete Success Off the Court

WALLINGFORD, Conn. – December 6, 2006 – VBrick Systems, Inc., the world leader in digital video systems and solutions, today introduced the Promise initiative, a powerful digital video system that removes time and distance hurdles by providing college student-athletes with course lecture video and additional college resources virtually anywhere, anytime.  The VBrick Promise program enables student-athletes to learn from their professors’ firsthand expertise by watching live and on demand classes via iPods, laptops, and other mobile devices when travel and related athletic commitments prohibit attending class in person.

The Promise combines VBrick’s market-leading digital video products with unique insight from renowned college basketball coach Mike Jarvis to provide universities with engaging visual communications applications that are reliable, scalable, and easy to use.  Jarvis draws from more than 18 years as a successful Division I men’s college coach – and as a pragmatic parent and student-athlete mentor – to co-develop the Promise with VBrick.

“Every college has an obligation to provide its students with the tools to foster an active learning environment,” said Mike Jarvis.  “The Promise’s innovative e-learning platform raises the bar for supporting student-athlete success in the classroom and beyond.  Looking beyond applications for athletics, the Promise initiative is poised to fundamentally change higher education by fostering new levels of information sharing, collaboration, communications, and discovery.”

The Promise combines leading technology and a robust content library in an engaging, easy-to-use format.  The Promise also includes Mike Jarvis’ “The
