SEIU Streams Democratic Presidential Candidates Biden, Dodd, Obama, Richardson, Clinton, and Edwards Using VBrick

WALLINGFORD, CONNECTICUT, September 17, 2007 – VBrick Systems today announced the 1.9 million SEIU, the Service Employees International Union, will stream live presentations from five Democratic Presidential Candidates:  Senators Chris Dodd, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John Edwards, and Governor Bill Richardson, to its Political Action Conference this Monday, September 17, 2007.

To access the live streaming video of the candidates presentations go to http://webcast.seiu.org.

The candidates will not be debating with each other, but rather presenting their own platform and how it impacts the working people in America.

“The streamed broadcast allows people who can’t attend the conference to have a front row seat and still be able to participate and hear what the candidates have to say to SEIU members and the public on the issues that affect people on the job every day.  SEIU members will also have the opportunity to view the archive of the video streamed presentations after they are given,” said Vince Graziani VBrick Systems CEO.

“SEIU’s innovative use of live streaming broadcasts is the next step in establishing webcasting as a valuable and ‘must have’ communication tool in the political process,” said Greg Tompkins, Principal, Fireside Communications.

With 1.9 million members, SEIU is the fastest-growing union in North America with members in health care, hospitals, nursing homes, home care, property services, building cleaning, security and public service

In order to participate in the Political Action Convention, all candidates were required to participate in “Walk in Our Shoes” program where presidential candidate took time off of the campaign trail to walk in the shoes of one of SEIU’s members
