WALLINGFORD, Conn. – September 30, 2008- VBrick Systems, Inc., the world leader in digital video appliances and solutions, today announced that the Ethernet 4.2 digital video solution has won the Streaming Media Magazine Readers’ Choice Award for the second consecutive year. VBrick’s EtherneTV 4.2 system is a powerful tool for distributing live and on-demand video assets across various sized campus and enterprise networks. EtherneTV 4.2 allows organizations to simplify management by delivering a number of video applications, all from one system.
“We are honored to be the recipient of the Readers’ Choice Award for the second year in a row,” said Vince Graziani, VBrick CEO. “VBrick is continually striving to deliver video-based innovations that are fundamentally changing how organizations communicate and touch key audiences. We are pleased that our EtherneTV 4.2 product has been so well received among the Streaming Media Magazine readership and continually exceeds their expectations each year.”
EtherneTV 4.2 is enhanced with two new software modules, EtherneTV Channel Guide and EtherneTV Reporter. EtherneTV Channel Guide allows users to download the television programming list from an Internet server and associate it with the television channels they are delivering on their network. Customers can also use this functionality to create “custom stations” with programming information for self-generated content.
This year’s Readers’ Choice Awards presented more than 200 different products and services from more than 150 different companies from around the world. More than 3,000 Streaming Media Magazine readers voted for products and solutions in the magazine’s 16 award categories. Readers selected the best and brightest products from a field of nearly 120 entries.
