VBrick Awarded $476,000 Contract from the United States Bureau of Census
Company to Deliver Software and Hardware for Live and On-Demand Video Streaming

Wallingford, CT – November 12, 2009 -  VBrick Systems today announced that it received an order for $476,000 from the United States Bureau of Census in Washington, D.C.  The order calls for the delivery of VBrick Enterprise Media System software, H.264 and Windows® Media Encoders, Reflector appliances, product training, support and services.

The Bureau of Census purchased all five elements of VBrick’s IP Video platform: encoding appliances that capture the video stream and rich media presentation materials; reflectors that transport the stream over the LAN/WAN while bridging low-bandwidth bottlenecks; software and hardware decoders that play the stream on PCs, video displays and portable devices; video-on-demand servers that playback the stored content; and the VBrick Enterprise Media System software that provides a unified portal for accessing live and on-demand media files and managing the end-to-end experience.
