Wallingford, CT. – April 7, 2011 – Enterprise IP video leader, VBrick Systems, today announced availability of the Rich Media Desktop (RMD). The RMD enables employees throughout an enterprise to easily create and stream dazzling presentations that combine audio, video, images and data from their desktops. VBrick is the first to introduce a solution for desktop video content creation which can be viewed live or on-demand, and streamed to devices such as PCs, smartphones and tablets located behind the corporate firewall and over the Internet.

“VBrick’s RMD democratizes the world of video desktop publishing by enabling both the novice and the professional to create the kinds of high-end presentations that usually take weeks to create and cost thousands of dollars,” said John Shaw, Chief Operating Officer, VBrick.  “This ease-of-use factor, combined with the fact that users can simultaneously stream live while creating an on-demand asset for later viewing makes this product unique.”

The RMD enables every critical enterprise function — from HR, to sales and marketing, to the CEO’s office — to easily create compelling educational content, add impact to customer campaigns, and connect in an engaging way with employees.  Users can easily create professional-quality video that mixes dynamic elements such as transitions and built-in titles—without the need for professional video production.  RMD supports an extensive variety of streaming capabilities including Flash®, Windows Media Player™, QuickTime™ and a myriad of mobile device formats.

The launch of RMD is the latest in a series of product milestones that position VBrick as the dominant provider of powerful and easy-to-use rich content creation and distribution solutions.  Recently, the Company announced the acquisition of Fliqz.  Fliqz enables websites, blogs and social platforms to offer engaging video while maximizing search engine rankings.  Armed with the RMD, Fliqz users now have a video “on-ramp” that makes it easy and convenient to capture compelling content. And once because Fliqz is fully integrated with VBrick’s existing Online Streaming Service (VBoss), RMD becomes an even more powerful tool for users to create and stream high-quality, presentations live and on-demand.

Ushering in the New Era of High-Impact Internal and External Presentations
Today’s increasingly mobile workforce makes presenting to an audience that much more challenging.  Static slide presentations have lost their edge in an age when some or all meeting attendees access the content remotely. VBrick’s RMD has been engineered to meet the growing demand for high- impact multi-media presentations that can be viewed via today’s most deployed media players.  With RMD, users can layer video, graphics, charts, audio—and even live camera views—into dynamic and interactive presentations to  provide an engaging experience for viewers.

Availability
RMD will be available in early May, 2011.
