Control View and Edit Access to a Video Upload
Use the Settings button on the Video Player form to control view and edit access to video uploads by user account, groups, and teams.
There are three levels of access that may be set for a video upload. They are:
Public - Anyone may view the video even if they do not possess a Rev user account. Normally used when embedding videos on 3rd party sites. The video must also be set to Active status. Edit access may be granted to specific Rev user accounts, groups and teams as needed.
All Users - All logged in Rev user accounts may view the video (once it is set to Active status). Edit access may be granted to specific user accounts, groups and teams as needed.
Private - Only logged in Rev user accounts that have also been specified in the Access Control box may view the video. This is the default setting along with Inactive status (or Approval Required if an Approval Process is in place) after a video is initially uploaded or linked. Edit access may be granted to specific user accounts, groups and teams as needed.
