Online help provides access to the Vbrick Rev® Media Management System documentation. It has a powerful search engine so you can get answers to technical questions in seconds; it also has the complete documentation set in PDF format if you need hard-copy. Our publications team is committed to providing first-rate documentation and your feedback is important to us. Online help is best viewed with the latest version(s) of Internet Explorer (Windows), Safari (Macintosh), or Firefox (Linux) at the maximum recommended screen resolution of your computer’s monitor. The minimum resolution that should be used is 1024x768. (These help pages may not display or function properly with earlier versions or other browsers.) For best results, please take a few minutes to upgrade your browser from the update pages at Microsoft, Apple, or Mozilla.
Online Help Conventions
Online help uses the following standards and conventions:
Arial bold is used to describe dialog boxes and menu choices, for example: Start > All Programs > Vbrick
Courier fixed-width font is used for scripts, code examples, or keyboard commands.
Courier bold fixed-width font is used for user input in scripts, code examples, or keyboard commands.
Italics are used in text to emphasize specific words or phrases.
Icon and Note Box Descriptions
 
Table of Contents: Hide or view the Table of Contents. The TOC is open by default.
Translate: Toggles Google translate options. This will allow you to translate the main content area of Online help into several different languages. Note that the Table of Contents is unable to be translated at this time.
Search: Search Online help. Search results in Online help are heavily weighted by topic names being searched first. Also keep in mind that you may obtain different results if you use singular versus plural.
Paging: Used to page forward and backward.
Home: Returns to the first page of Online help.
 
General Note Box: Tips or helpful information that add to a topic but that are not always required.
 
Additional Information Box: Provides details on specific roles or permissions needed to access the information in a topic. May also point to training videos, job aides, or best practices documentation and case studies.
 
Caution: Pay special attention. Text in this box must not be overlooked.
