Toggle the Event Host Layout During a Webcast Event
Once an event begins broadcasting, the Event Host may toggle the view that is seen during the Webcast. Note this only effects the Event Host’s view. The Event Moderator and attendees may toggle their own views as well.
The , , and buttons are used to toggle the elements of the Webcast for the Event Host. All elements are “on” by default when the event is started. If a button is clicked, that element is toggled off until the button is clicked again. For example, if the button is clicked, the large presentation window to the right of the video will be removed until the button is clicked again.
In the example below, the slide carousel has been toggled off by clicking the button.
To toggle the Event Host layout in an event:
1. Navigate to > > > button.
2. You can set the Webcast to begin recording immediately when you begin broadcasting by clicking the button before you click the button. It will change to . When the button is clicked, it will change to and the Webcast will begin recording immediately.
3. Click the button to begin broadcasting the event to attendees when ready.
4. Select which elements you want to display by toggling on and off their corresponding button.
Tip: If an Event Moderator is set up for the Webcast and able to control slides, the Slides button for the Event Host interface will not be present nor will the presentation slides themselves. If a Moderator is not set up to control slides, all Event Admins assigned may control them. |
