Real Time Webcast Event Analytics
In addition to Event Reports at the end of your Webcast, you are also able to obtain analytics in real time, as the Webcast is occurring by clicking the Real Time Dashboard icon.
 
Note: Real Time Webcast Event Analytics are a Rev Cloud only feature.
When clicked, a separate browser window with the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard is launched.
The Current Attendees count is displayed in the upper left corner and you can use the Find User search box to display attributes about a specific attendee.
Event data tables are displayed below the current attendees under the System Status and User Statistics tabs and are updated every three minutes. You may also refresh the data manually by clicking the Refresh link.
When the event is over, a link to the analytics is provided. Note: Currently, this dashboard is not able to be viewed on mobile devices.
In addition to individual (and aggregated) attendee details, you are able to see player collected stats such as the current and fall-back streams, and stats on additional devices you are using such as DMEs.

Find Attendee Data in Real Time
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to search and view a specific attendee in a Webcast in real-time.
*To find attendee data in real-time:
1. Navigate to the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard > Find User search box.
2. Enter a first name and last name.
3. Matching results will appear. If more than one person matches your name, you will be able to select between matches.
4. The following data appears about the attendee:
Full name
Email address
Zone
Operating System
Browser
IP Address
Current stream (unicast)
Original stream (multicast)
Number of buffering events for the Webcast thus far
Number of failovers and times (specific to user’s browser time)
Session count (number of times user rejoined session)
View Number of Attendees by Zone
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to view the number of attendees in each zone during a Webcast in real-time.
*To find the number of attendees by zone:
1. Navigate to the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard > System Status tab.
2. The System Status table displays each zone that is being used in the Webcast along with relevant real-time data about that zone including number of attendees by zone as seen below in the highlighted area.
View Number of Unicast and Multicast Streams by Zone
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to view the number of unicast and multicast streams by zone during a Webcast in real-time.
*To find the number of unicast and multicast streams by zone:
1. Navigate to the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard > System Status tab.
2. The Unicast and Multicast columns display the number of unicast and multicast streams in each zone during the Webcast.
View Number of Buffering Events by Zone
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to view the number of buffering events that have occurred by zone during a Webcast in real-time. Buffering events are cumulative from the start of the Webcast.
*To find the number of buffering events by zone:
1. Navigate to the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard > System Status tab.
2. The Buffering Event column displays the number of buffering events that have occurred in each zone since the start of the Webcast.
View Number of Failover Events by Zone
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to view the number of multicast failover events that have occurred by zone during a Webcast in real-time. Multicast failover events are cumulative from the start of the Webcast.
*To find the number of failover events by zone:
1. Navigate to the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard > System Status tab.
2. The Multicast Failover Events column displays the number of multicast failover events that have occurred in each zone since the start of the Webcast.
View Average Bit Rate by Zone
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to view the average bit rate by zone during a Webcast in real-time.
*To find the average bit rate by zone:
1. Navigate to the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard > System Status tab.
2. The Avg. Bit Rate (Kbps) column displays the average bit rate of each zone.
View DME Status by Zone
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to view DME status in by zones during a Webcast in real-time.
*To find DME status by zone:
1. Navigate to the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard > System Status tab.
2. The DME Status column displays icons indicating DME status in each zone. This icon is an indicator for all DMEs in the applicable zone. Hovering over the icon will display a tool tip indicating the status for the zone.
3. If there are no DMEs in the zone, this column will be empty.
Status indicators for the DMEs in each zone are defined as follows:
 
Normal. Only displayed if all DMEs in the zone return a status of "Normal".
Caution alert. Displayed if the overall status for at least one DME in the zone returns a !Caution alert (and none return a Red !Alert).
A Red alert for the zone will always be displayed if the overall status for at least one DME in the zone returns a Red !Alert (regardless of the overall status of all other DMEs in the zone).
If Rev has not received a DME status update for the last three minutes or if the DME is uninitialized then the DME column will display as "Unavailable".
4. Clicking a Caution or Red Alert within a zone will expand the DME Status window so that you are able to view active DMEs in the zone to view more details.
A table will display with the following information:
DME Name
CPU Status
Memory Status
Throughput
Cache Utilization (Mesh Measurement)
Goto DME (Hyperlink to the DME)
View Devices by Zone
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to view the devices being used by zone during a Webcast in real-time. This includes the number of PCs in each zone and the number of mobile devices in each zone.
*To find the devices by zone:
1. Navigate to the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard > User Statistics tab.
2. The Device table displays each zone and the number of devices in each.
View Attendee Operating Systems by Zone
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to view the operating systems being used by attendees in each zone during a Webcast in real-time. This includes:
Windows
Mac
Android
iOS
Linux
*To find attendee operating systems:
1. Navigate to the Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard > User Statistics tab.
2. The Operating Systems table displays each zone and operating systems in use in each.
View Attendee Browsers by Zone
The Real Time Web Analytics Dashboard allows you to view the browsers being used by attendees in each zone during a Webcast in real-time. This includes:

Chrome
Edge
Firefox
IE
Mobile Safari
Safari
Mobile Android
Unknown (browser unable to be determined)
*To find attendee browser:
