Unlock a User’s Account
If a user has been locked out of his/her user account and is unable to reset the password through the Forgot Password link, you have the ability to either unlock the account or reset the password as the case may be.
See: Configure User Lockout Settings for more information on configuring lockout settings.

Note: If user accounts are being managed by LDAP, passwords and security options are not managed through the VBrick Rev interface.

*To unlock a user’s account:
1. Navigate to Admin > Users > User Account.
2. Under Administrative Actions > click the Reset Password button to generate an entirely new password for the user. See: Reset a User’s Password.
3. Click Unlock to unlock the user’s account. The previous password will still be in place.
4. The user’s account status must be either “Active” or in “Locked Out” status for these two buttons to be present at the same time.

Tip: The button functions available in Administrative Actions vary based on the account’s status. Example: “Unlicensed” and you are able to obtain the User Confirmation URL to complete the registration process; “Locked Out and you are able to Unlock the account, and so forth.
