Enable Closed Captions for a Webcast Event
You may enable closed captions for your Webcast events by clicking the Enabled button under Closed Captions in the Build Your Event section.
When Closed Captions are enabled:
●A closed caption toggle will be available on the Webcast video player just as it is on the VOD video player. See: The Video Playback Bar
●Closed captions are only available for the following formats: RTMP, RTMFP Multicast, HLS for Flash players and HLS for HTML5 players.
●If closed captions are enabled, they will be displayed if available.
 
*To enable closed captions for a Webcast event:
1. Navigate to User > Events > Add Event.
2. Schedule the event as you normally would. See: Schedule a Webcast Event.
3. Set Closed Captions to Enabled.
