User Menu Bar

Contains the user menu bar functions; you may not see all functions depending upon your role and permissions. For example, if you are not a Media Contributor or Account Admin, you will not be able to upload videos.

Search Media field

Find media, events, user accounts, and so forth. See: Search Media and Video Content.

Add Content icon

Click to upload video content.

As mentioned, only visible to users with the Account Admin, Media Admin, or Media Contributor roles. See: Upload Video and Add Content.

User Account icon

Displays the current user. Click to log out.

Notifications icon

Alerts you to the functions that have occurred in the system since the last time you logged in and in real time as actions occur while logged in.

Specific to each user and will change colors depending upon if notifications are present. See: View Your Notifications.

Gear icon

Provides access to admin menu bar and admin functions. This icon will not be present if you do not have Account Admin access.

Online Help icon

Launches Rev’s Online help files. This can be customized. See: Customize and Add Help Links for Rev
