Send Invitations for a Webcast Event in Calendar
Once an event is created and saved, Event Admins may save it to their calendar (or any application using the .ics file format) to create invitations, including Outlook. The Add to My Calendar button may be used to save and send the event date and time to attendees once the event has been created.
 
*To save and send invitations for an event in calendar:
1. Navigate to User > Events > Event Name > Add to May Calendar button. (You may also click on the Event Name in the Upcoming Events carousal from the Home page)
2. You will be prompted to open with Microsoft Outlook (for Windows) or the default calendar app in use.
3. The event name, start and end dates and times, description, and URL will be copied to a calendar event.
4. You will then be able to send the event to applicable attendees or save it for yourself.

Tip: When creating an event, the Description field is used for the event invitation description text.
