Video Functions : Video Settings : Set the Status of a Video

Set the Status of a Video
Use the Settings button on the Video Player form to set the status of a video to Active or Inactive. If a video is Inactive, it will not be accessible or visible to other user accounts with the exception of admins.

Note: By default, all uploaded video as well as video URLs (live and VOD) and recorded Webcasts are set to Inactive status and must be manually activated. This allows you to control when videos are available for general viewing so that video settings such as thumbnails, categories, access controls, and so forth may be put in place before allowing your audience to view them.
*To edit a video’s status:
1. Navigate to User > Media > My Videos.
2. Click the Video Name > Settings button > Basic tab.
3. Set the video status to Active or Inactive as needed. Inactive is the default.

Keep in mind that status may be automatically set by Rev if the video upload is part of an approval process. Approval status updates that may be set by the system are:
Approval Required: The video must be submitted for approval before it may be published and viewed. You will not be able to set this video to Active or Inactive status yourself until this step is completed and the video is approved. See: Submit a Video for Approval.
Pending Approval: The video has been submitted for approval but has not been reviewed or approved yet by an Approver.
Rejected: The video was rejected by an Approver.

Role(s): To deactivate and view deactivated videos:
