Rev enables organizations to unleash the power of video to educate, inform and inspire employees anywhere and on any device. Its ease of use increases engagement and adoption by delivering the same consumer-grade experience employees expect from their use of video and social media sites. Customers can stream high quality live and on-demand video across their own networks using Rev’s embedded eCDN capabilities, which ensure that video uses the least possible bandwidth. This document contains Release Notes for the latest version of Rev.

Podcast Support	VBrick Rev now features podcast support through .mp3 file uploads. View the new and updated help topics at: ●Upload an MP3 File From Your Hard Drive ●Supported Video and Audio File Formats
IPTV-STB Integration	The Set Top Box module continues to be added to and enhanced to include new features such as the ability to delete a set top box and set the status of a set top box. New and updated help topics are available: ●Delete a Set Top Box ●Set the Status of a Set Top Box
Video Chapter Updates	Video Chapter functionality in Rev continues to be updated and enhanced for more usability and intuitiveness. For example, drag and drop features have been enabled for chapters and you may now hide chapter images and slides during video playback with the chapter images toggle switch. This is helpful if a video only has a default image associated with chapters that you want to hide during playback. Update / Enhancement	Description
System Email Updates	You may now stop all system emails from going to those users that have been suspended in Rev. View the new help topic at: ●Suppress System Email Messages to Suspended User Accounts
Subtitle Enhancements	Based on feedback from customers that VOD subtitles are difficult to read, a black background has been added and the font size has been increased. This is now in line with most other video services. For details on subtitles, view the help topic at: ●Add Subtitles to a Video
Event Background Image Enhancements	If an event contains a background image, it will now display in the Upcoming Events carousel on the Rev Home page as well. For details on adding a background image to an event, see: ●Upload a Background Image to a Webcast Event
Webcast Event Poll Updates	A Submit button has been added to polls on Webcast Events. Further, success messages have also been added when a user submits a response making it clear that a response has been submitted. HLS Preset Transcoding Profile Updates	For new accounts after the Rev v7.17 release, the HLS transcoding profile has been updated to a 128k bit rate audio 1 setting (if not AAC) and the audio 2 setting has been updated to 1296 bit rate. The audio setting for setting 3 has been removed altogether. This is only for non-AAC audio sources.
